SCROLL INTO THE EVENING

The hour before the night.

01 · The Light

There is a window every evening when the room turns gold. The sun drops behind the viaduct, the bar catches the last of it, and Saint-Jacques goes quiet before it gets loud. That is when we open.

02 · The Room

One room that changes shape as the evening goes. Tables come out, the lights come down, and what was a dining room at seven is a floor by eleven. Built to be taken over.

THE SUN SETS ON SAINT-JACQUES
5:40 PM
The last daylight lies flat across the bar.

Glasses polished. The dining room holds its breath in parchment light.

6:15 PM
The room wakes up.

Amber creeps up the walls. The bar takes the last of the daylight.

6:40 PM
A candle down every table.

The room lowers its voice. Shadows lengthen and settle in.

7:00 PM
Doors.

The light is gone. What is left is the fire, and the room is full.

9:30 PM
The tables clear. The room leans in.

The evening softens into the night. The music finds the floor.

Midnight
Still going.

The embers hold. On Friday and Saturday, so do we, until two.
